Mitsubishi's PK-20 PocketProjector
It has been a good couple of weeks for projector enthusiasts – there has to be at least one of you out there – and now Mitsubishi is making it even better with an upgrade to their PocketProjector line. With a 550:1 contrast ratio and a native resolution of 800 x 600, the PK-20 still isn't a great choice for someone looking to make their own home theater, even with the new built-in SD card reader. But its small size (4.85-inches x 1.85-inches x 3.85-inches), optional battery pack ($199) and weight of only one-pound should make it attractive to the well-traveled business man with expense accounts that'll cover the $899 price tag.

"...its small size..."
Um, how about expanding on that and actually giving the size, so I don't have to RTFA?

I've had such bad experiences with Data Projectors (as we call them) that when I have to do a school presentation, I just make the powerpoint and print them onto colour transparencies. I don't have a colour printer, so Kinko's does the printing for me- at a huge premium (>$3 per page). I then use our school's abundant and brand-spanking-new 3M overhead projectors to show the transparencies. Simple, attractive (it's a powerpoint after all), and the picture is actually clearer than most Data Projectors. The only downside: when I go to present, I can't purposely cause the projector to "malfunction" so that I don't have to present that day...

Several Sammy mobile phones have video out jacks, add a sling box client and this tiny projector and PRESTO! You can make RIAA, MLB and SAG board members's heads explode.

When these guys hit 1024x768 I'm there until then they're just an idle curiousity.

You know 800 x 600 isn't that bad. We have a projector like that and it displays beautifully

I was looking forward to purchasing one of these for 2-years now, but after finding this thing can only project to a maximum 40" 4:3 screen i lost interest.
